Step-by-Step: Taming Frizz

The way to maintain smooth silky hair are proper products and technique. Here are some of my tips to control and tame that fall frizz.

Step One: Prepping the blow dry

Kerastase Keratin Thermique: It is an anti-frizz/anti-humidity heat protectant. Take a small dime sized amount into your palm, spread it evenly in your hands and apply it to the ends on towel dried hair.

Step Two: Sealing Technique

The key to sleek hair is a blowdryer nozzle. Without the nozzle the air blows out more freely which is good for rough drying and getting most of the moisture out of your hair. After rough drying, use the nozzle. The air is concentrated to a small strip of air, giving you more control and direction. Pressing the hair down between the blow dryer and a flat or round brush smooths and polishes the ends; similar to a flat iron.

Really sealing the ends of your hair with the blow dryer makes it smoother and more manageable to style; whether you wear it straight or add some curls/waves.

Step Three: Polishing the look

Brilliantine from Bumble and Bumble is a finishing cream that gives you an overall polished look. Only use a very small amount focusing mostly at the ends of your hair. it adds a little bit of shine to pull together the sealing technique.

Beautiful Finished Look !
